About Us

In my life, as I shop for myself and others, the first thing that comes to mind is how can I buy that thing from a local maker.

I'm not sure when this became the mindset I have now, but it has become so easy to do this, that I saw no reason to make this small shift to put money back into my community and it just makes sense to me.

It can be your local farmers market, the pop up shops that show up in your malls. You can google it - type in local markets near me - and find a range of artisans closest to you, in your community. Even if it's online, as most businesses now have websites as well.

This sense of giving back to your own neighborhood creates opportunity for more jobs and it allows more small businesses to flourish and give back. The cycle continues beautifully.

So, if you can, please support your local community, you won't regret it. And hey, maybe you'll make connections that you didn't know were there in your own backyard. :)

What does this have to do with my art? Well, if you are purchasing from me you are supporting a small local business that will pass along that revenue to buy more paint, more canvases, more office supplies, and enter craft fairs that support my local community and city. Where they will purchase my art......and so on.

Pretty cool, huh?
